Sat In 1- NOT DETECTED

My Zippered Tivo v3.1f has been working fine for months. Now I have lost Sat In 1. :eek:

I swapped the cables for Sat In 1 and 2, but the test still registers Sat In 1 as NOT DETECTED.

Is this a servicable item or do I need to buy another unit?

Most likely your SAT1 tuner has died. There's not much you can do yourself about this.

I know this sounds strange, but I powered down the unit and when it came back up Sat 1 In was working perfectly.

Go figure! I thought this had to be a hardware thing.
