I'm trying to setup a friends Tivo
It's a 80 hour dual tuner tivo
I'm trying to connect a Linksys WUSB11 ver. 2.8 wireless B adapter, and it's not showing any networks and I can't get it to work.
It's plugged into the usb port on the back.
I have done it plenty of times on a single tuner, is the dual tuner different in that I need to use the Ethernet port and not the usb port?
please help
THANKS

The DT is exactly the same as any other TiVo S2 as far as wireless is concerned.

Check the uSB adapter to see if it has any power. There are 2 green indicators on the top, one for power the other for signal. You can try the adapter in a computer to see if it works.
I think your adapter should work. Here is a link to all the adapters that work.

Thanks
yeah, full lights
going to test them tonight.
if they don't work i'll need to buy 2 adapters
I know the tivo adapters are great (i have 2) but don't need anything like that for this setup, they won't be using mrv or anything, just need it for updates.
are there any good/cheap ethernet wireless adapters for tivo that work well?

Wireless is USB only.
Unless using a wireless ethernet bridge.
