Question about Samsung Sir-s4040r

I lost my manual and could use a quick hand. Can I connect my cable tv to this and see it through the Tivo video signal. I want my cable to show up on the Tivo guide. I know you can use DTV and cable on the stand alone Tivo units but how about this one?

No. Directv with TiVo units only decode the Directv signal. They don't have cable decoders.

You can run your cable into the cable/ant input, but you will only see the signal by putting the unit into bypass. It will not appear on the guide nor will it record.

Sorry, no! Only DirecTV channels.

All you can do is connect your RF to the TiVo and have it passed thru to the TV when the TiVo is in standby.
