Hughes SD-DVR40 freezes

My recently upgraded DirecTivo has a behavior problem.

It will freeze while watching programs both live and recorded.

I can hear the drive spinning but it does not respond at all.

If I power cycle it comes back on and works fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem with the same model (but not an upgraded TiVo). In fact, it's been happening the entire time I've been writing this email. Anyone know what's going on, or to whom I can complain?

Did you do a "clear and delete everything" after installing the new hard drive?
