If it is a Series 2 Directv tivo run the zipper. See the thread with a lot more posts than all the rest. That would give you that plus other stuff. If you have a stand alone, or want to just do it manually trythis thread. Has anyone ever gotten an ftp client to work on a DTiVo? there are time I would like to ftp a file directly from one DTiVo to another.

Try mfs_ftp. See the wiki entry about extraction.

Tivoftpd is included with Alphawolf's S2 utilities, as well as PTVnet, rbautch's busybox utils and the zipper. Try Smartftp for direct tivo to tivo transfers. It works quite well for mfs_ftp or just standard ftp use.

No, I have a great windows client. The ftp server on the TiVo is working just fine. I was talking about direct tivo to tivo ftp'ing. That needs a TiVo client ftp program.

It's really not that big of a deal to transfer config files to the PC first, it would just be nice to move them directly among the TiVos.
