TiVo was recording the Barca game when I told it to record Creep instead. I got the normal "clash" screen and told TiVo to stop recording the football. Then I got the above error.

The footy stopped recording but Creep is not in the to do list.

Bit of a bonus really, because I accidently changed to BBC1 and noticed the ring just started so I'm recording that instead :up:

Anyway, I am a bit curious about what caused the error. Any ideas?

I've had a similar error when TiVo is already recording and I select another current programme to record from the TV guide and hit "record", then confirm the new recording.

I found if I waited for the channel change to complete before confirming cancellation and that I want to record the new programme, I didn't get the error.

Doesn't seem to do any long-term problem.

Thanks, makes sense.

It's pretty rare that I either interrupt a recording or schedule my own, so it's doubtful I'll see this again.
