Phone Question

I would like to replace my regular phone service with a internet phone or cable service. Is there a way for my 2 Direct TV receivers with Tivo's to get TV guide info without my regular service? Any ideas???

Technically, they dont need the phone line... I have never plugged mine in. They get their guide data via the sats.

The only thing you will need the phone line for is for PPV.

Right. You only need the phone line for the initial Guided Setup. After that you don't need a phone connection.
