30 sec skip function on DirecTv disabled?

I've used 30 second skip on my unit for a long time but sometime late last year, after my unit had to be reset I was not able to re-program the 30 second skip function using the "select-play-select-3-0-select" combination.

I have a combination DirecTv receiver/TIVO unit. Does anyone know whether DirecTv updated the software and eliminated the 30 second skip function? It has greatly reduced my viewing pleasure!!

It's still there. Do the sequence while watching a recording. Be deliberate with the button presses.

mine still works, but mine is hacked so that 30 second skip is the default state.

After the upgrade last year I recall quite a few had issues getting it to work, but it was still there, ya just had to keep trying to put the code in.
