I'm going to feel dumb when I get an answer because I do know this but can't remember:

What is the significance of a double tick against an episode in a season pass as opposed to just one ?

I wonder if anybody has perhaps got a list of what all the icons mean ?

You might find it useful to download the manual for your TiVo. You can get it here (http://www.tivo.co.uk/1.2.asp).

The To Do List shows you all the programmes you’ve set up to record. It lists both
individual recordings and Season Passes. After you have scheduled the Recorder to
record a particular programme, you can confirm that it will be recorded by checking
your programme’s name in the To Do List. To the left of the programme name will be a
tick, indicating that TiVo is set to record your programme. Season Passes are marked
with a double tick. Season Passes that don’t have any upcoming episodes are listed at
the bottom of the list.

Thank you for the RTFM advice. I have but perhaps have missed it amongst the 111 pages !

With respect britcub I think you may have misunderstood the question so please allow me to restate it:

"What is the significance of a double tick against AN EPISODE in a season pass as opposed to just one"

I have a season pass (CSI CH5) and when I view the upcoming episodes, of which there are about 10, some have a single tick whereas others have a double yet I can see no differences in the settings for the episodes.

On Jan 30th for instance there is a 2 part episode for which the first has one tick yet the second has 2, why ?

A double tick recording has been created by TiVo as a part of a season pass you have previously created.

A single tick is either a explicit recording you have set for a programme (with no season pass) or, for a season pass program, a recording that you have modified in some way (padding, quality etc)

Thank you for the RTFM advice.
Sorry. Didn't mean it like that :) What I meant was it is usual not to read the manual. I know I never do ;)

With respect britcub I think you may have misunderstood the question so please allow me to restate it:

With respect KiNeL, I think you may have misunderstood a genuine attempt to be helpful, making an incorrect assumption of sarcasm. The manual may not have answered your first question, but it certainly DOES explain what all the icons mean.

Sorry if I offended you. And I'm sure you did not intend to cause the feeling of quiet disgruntlement I now feel.
