Since my install I've never had the Hallmark Channel. It's part of my package but I didn't want to make a big deal about it. Now 3 channels directly below it are missing, National Geogragphic Soap and Toon Disney. It almost looks like a virus spreading. I really don't care about Soap or Toon Disney but NG is ok from time to time and so is Hallmark.

My appointment is for Tuesday evening.

The good news is for the first time I spoke with a CSR who knew about the S3.

Did you try rebooting the box? That is what I have had to do to get channels to come back. Did your Cable Co give you Scientific Atlanta CableCards? Let us know what they find.

I tried rebooting when I first noticed that Hallmark wasn't working. I may give that a shot before they come out. Yes, it is SA cards.

Reboot did not help. I think this needs to be looked at by the tech. I'm not going to fool with it until then. Interestingly enough I was contacted by another Forum member who lives in my area that is having problems with two of the 4 I'm not getting. The other two he's receiving.

Edit: Correction. National Geographic is back.

I've been missing at least a doz analog channels too.

Do you get them when you're in cable card test mode? I do not hence my assumption that it's a CC issue.

I'm on SA cards too. Due to life stuff I'm not able to get a tech out until the 24th. Please post your findings from the tech visit.

Obviously it may be a signal strength issue.

I have no problem with analog channels. They are not controlled by cable card. Only digital channels are controlled by cable cards.
