Power off while recording, lost partials

I was moving things around and powered off my Series 3 two times while recording two shows. Both are HD channels with Non-HD content. Channel 805 shows "0" partial recordings after two reboots and channel 825 shows "1" partial recording after two reboots. This seems similar to the other partial recording thread, but this was an intentional reboot. This is not looking good. Both my series 2 machines worked as expected after their reboots while recording.

I try to avoid removing the power cord while the TiVos are recording. And during Power outages I'm covered for around 4 to 6 hours with my UPSs.

I certainly will now! But I've had 5 TiVos (both S1 & S2's) and it was a given that you could always power off while recording and it would resume where it left off. Now I will have to make a concerted effort to save the recording. The problem with that is I will have to go back in and restart the recording. But, when I'm moving a TiVo (or any device with an HDD), I'm powering it off first.
