View Full Version : Stuck in a Loop

Just wondering if someone out there can help.... I've got myself in to a loop which I cannot seem to get out of.

I've been having problems with the daily update with the error of Number Unavailable. I installed a cachecard about 3 weeks ago and was working fine since. After reading up on the forum I decided that it would be a good idea to run a guided set-up, but now I cannot get past the test call... VVV Annoying.

As for the cachecard - theTivo boots up with no errors, and there are lights on the Cachecard itself. I've tried a different network lead, and there is no problem (that I can tell) with my internet connection or the router.

Has anyone got any idea about why it's not connecting or how I can get out of the guided set-up in the short-term... Thank-you

Can you telnet tivo?

Cannot Ping or Telnet Tivo.... Could the IP setting have changed on the tivo?

My guess was that the gateway had changed, this happened to me once and took ages for me to figure out.

I'm not sure how the IP could have changed, but if you can't even ping tivo then it could be that.
