This is the same bare drive that Weaknees (http://www.weaknees.com/tivo-dvr-hard-drive.php) sells for $469.00.

That's more inline with the non-DB35 drive. With the Hitachi $400 1TB drive coming out soon, the price should go down further.

Hrm...Buy now or hold out? I was waiting to see what the new big dog would do to 750 gig prices and there's my answer. But I could see spending a little more for another 250 gigs.

Not only the existance of the 1TB drive will push it down, but I think i read that Hitachi is targeting a MSRP of $400. That shouldl really send all disk prices tumbling.

That's the price I'm getting as well.
I *really* wanna wait till a 1TB drive comes out before upgrading, but this is verrrrry tempting.

I ordered the drive 3 weeks ago and it never came at that price. I emailed them 4 times with no response til 1 week after. The response was were busy please be patient.
I cancelled order and got it from another vendor the next day.

Just use froogle for best current price.

I won't dispute the 'better dealer' part of that.

But how is 350 +11 better than 330? How much was shipping at Page?
