Letterman not recorded last night

I'm aware of the DirecTiVo SP problems so I set a manual recording on my HR10 last night for Letterman which the SP failed to schedule.

But my Series3 missed the recording also. I have the same SPs on my HR10 and S3 for safety backup in case one is missed. But in this case, had I not set the manual recording on the HR10, this Letterman would have been missed entirely.

I have 2 SPs at the same time, Leno and Letterman and they has been working fine with dual tuners on the S3. Leno recorded last night on the S3 but not Letterman. Recording History had this: "This program was not recorded because someone in your household chose to record another program instead : The Tonight Show With Jay Leno...".

What could cause this?

This sounds as though the S3 has lost track of the fact that it has two independent tuners. Are both tuners working OK if you try switching between them in live TV? Do both CableCARDs show up OK?

Yes, both tuners are working fine and the To Do list shows both Leno and Letterman scheduled properly for the rest of the week. Maybe it was a glitch in the program guide data.
