Hello,
I have a Philips HDR31201 Tivo unit and have not used it for about a year and a 1/2. I had the unit back then upgraded with 2 ,120 gig drive. I had done upgrade also with the TurboNet card at the same time. The program that I paid for was Instant Cake and it work good . I was able to use TurboNet card to get info from Tivo ,this was great because I did't and still don't have a phone line at my house. The problem that I have now is that a year and a 1/2 (half) the hard drive lock up and I put it away. I now got it back out and put two new drives in and ran Instant Cake and all ran good in setup. I then installed it back into the tivo unit and booted . The Tivo ran the phone setup ( No Phone Here ) so I put the ",#401" without the (" ") but it will not use the network to call out. I the look and found that my router had given it a IP address of 198.168.0.119 . I also then to try to ftp into it but can't . I would like to know if Instant Cake set this up like iI read or do I have to do something that I don't remember.
