The info from HD.net (http://www.hd.net/mavsdtv.html) says that I will need the H20 to get their Maverick games. A D*TV CSR told me that I was not getting the game on the 9th because it was blacked out in dallas. Did anybody with a Hr10-250 get the game on 96 or does it really require a H20 and 5 lnb dish?

Blacked out means they can't show it in your area.
HDNET and Channel 96 only require the 3 LNB Dish, but I think you would need to be subscribed to League Pass to get the HD telecast of the game.

Need to clarify a couple things here.
If the game is on HDNet itself, which is channel 79 that only requires a 3 LNB dish and any older HD receiver such as the HR10 will get it.
If a game is broadcast on channel 96, that is an MPEG4 channel and would require a 5LNB dish since it's on the KA sats and either an H20 or HR20 DVR to receiver since those are the only MPEG4 capable receivers. The HR10 can neither see the new KA sats nor decode MPEG4.
The Mavs games are produced by HDNet because Mark Cuban owns both, and they are carried on 96 now directly to the markets in question via the new KA spotbeams. In previous years the Mavs games were carried on the national channel 95 which prevented DirecTV from showing other things such as hockey.
Anyway, so yes, you need a 5LNB dish and an H20 or HR20 to get these games. I assume you are aware that all HD on DirecTV is moving this direction and you'll need this setup to get all new HD available and all current HD within a couple years?

Thanks for the answer, I know about the switch, but until recently I could get these games on 95. This is the first time that I could not get the content I wanted with the HR10-250. This is a tough one Tivo or Mavs , it likes tyring to pick between food or water.
