Hinsdale?

It's been some time since I've visited this section. :D

I've successfully upgraded two TiVo's in the past, and will soon complete a third. Only I'm not sure if the way I used to perform these upgrades is still the best way to do so.

Are we still using the Hinsdale (http://www.newreleasesvideo.com/hinsdale-how-to/) method?

Is there a better way? What is the suggested method for an manual upgrade these days?

Thanks for the heads up. I tried both Weaknees and PTVUpgrade boot discs, but both gave a message the restore from a 160GB HdD wouldn't fit on a 400GB HdD. :confused:

The MFSLive disc/approach gave me no such guff and I know have a standalone with 455 hrs. @ Basic. :up:
