Anyone been watching the Canadian feed of Stargate Atlantis season 3.5? I'd like to talk about these episodes but hesitate to start a thread if only a few people are watching them. I recall that was confusing when Battlestar Galactica started up a couple years ago.

Canada gets SG:A first, perhaps the perks of the financial incentives for filming there?. But I can't help thinking that NBCU scheduling has it's head up it's %^&*.

Even SG-1 is airing in HD in the UK now.

Episode 14 was not shown in order for rather complicated reasons related to big spoilers. Episodes 10-13, 15-17 have aired in Canada.

I have been really impressed with season 3.5 so far!

No, these are actual episodes. Season 3 was filmed in the usual manner, all ~22 episodes shot one after another. The season was almost done filming when the announcement about SG-1's cancellation came out in the fall.

Sci-Fi has been sitting on the second half of season 3 for SG-1 and Atlantis. Don't know exactly why, but as someone just pointed out, Canada has been airing them for several weeks now.

There are summaries and detailed forum discussions on Gateworld (http://www.gateworld.net/) but beware it's very difficult to avoid spoilers there.

It looks like Atlantis will start airing in the US 4/6/2007.

But, I couldn't wait. I've downloaded episodes 11-17 and have seen 11-13. The quality is quite good. I've had to redownload ep 14 because the first one had Swedish subtitles. :)

Even though I'm not caught up watching 17 (which I'll probably do tonight), I watched 14 last night so I've seen 14 through 16. There are definitely some good character moments in those eps and I've enjoyed them.

After watching 11-17, I'm wondering if SciFi will run them in the correct order. That being episode 14 comes after 17. If I say any more I'll be spoiling things.

We started watching them last night. The first ep (the conclusion) was good, but too much time had passed and the "previously on..." didn't really bring us upto speed on the situation. I had to try to remember why the ancients took the city and the replicators conquered the ancients, etc...

If they're labeled correctly, it should be 11 12 13 15 16 17 14 with 14 being "Sunday." 17 should be "The Ark."

Ok, getting "The Ark" now. I'll have to check to make sure the 14 I've got is Sunday.

If it opens with a shot of Atlantis, it's "Sunday." If it's Sheppard in a space suit, it's "The Ark."

That's the correct order. "Sunday" is more of a bottle show confined to Atlantis, so it was filmed earlier for production reasons, but it fits into the storyline in the 17th aired slot for reasons that will become obvious.

We just finished 15 (Tao of Rodney), which following on the heels on 13 (Irresponsible) seemed like a lot of superhero action. The Rodney ep was pretty good, but they just went a little overboard on letting David Hewlett have so much of everybody else's dialog.
