Tivo DOA? Weird one...

I posted this in the help forum, but they reccomend I post it here:

I unplugged my HR10-250 to move it. It's worked great for a couple of years.

Completely stock unit.

When I plugged it back in, I'm getting no lights on the front and no video.

I popped off the top. The fan is spinning but the hard drive is not.

When I unhook the IDE cable the Hard Drive spins up, but still no video or lights on the front.

When I plug the IDE cable back in the HD will not spin up.

I've checked all the power connections and front connects. Everything is in solid.

NOTE: This tivo had never had the case removed. It was my completly stock reference unit.

Very strange.

Ideas?

It could be a defective hard drive. What happens if you connect a different IDE drive in your Tivo? Even though that drive won't have the Tivo software installed, it should still spin up when the Tivo is powered up. If a replacement drive has the same problem, then mostly likely it's a power supply problem. You can get replacement supplies at http://www.weaknees.com.
