For Colbert fans [Text View]

I saw this (a link to Variety (http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117957010.html?categoryid=14&cs=1) ) at TrekBBS (http://www.trekbbs.com/threads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=7094633&an=0&page=0&gonew=1#UNREAD): January 18, no only will Stephen Colbert have Bill "Papa Bear" O'Reilly on his show (on Comedy Central) as a guest, but Colbert himself will be on earlier that evening as a guest on O'Reilly's show (on Fox News, of course). The episodes both air on Thursday, January 18, 2007. O'Reilly's show is at 8 pm; Colbert's is at 11:30 pm.

Are you sure this isn't some kind of April Fool's joke?

Doesn't O'Reilly know that he's one of the people that Colbert is making fun of?

No, it's true. O'Reilly probably feels honored to be the inspiration for Colbert's character, even if it is an over-the-top parody.

I wonder which Colbert is going to show up on O'Reilly, the one from the Colbert Report or more of his real persona (like we saw on 60 Minutes).

Glad to know I'm not the only one who had that thought. I guess we'll see on Thursday.
