When is 8s replay not 8s?

To take a page from the 30s thread, I just noticed that the 8s replay is more like .5 seconds while watching HDNet (Startrek: Enterprise). This makes it difficult to back up after using either 30s skip or 2FF to get past the commercials. Anyone else notice this?

I have noticed it on several shows on HDNET. Of course, it doesn't happen all of the time or even with any consistancy.

HDNet has major weird problems with 30 second skip, instant replay, FF, and REW. Sometimes it works fine, but most of the time it doesn't. I really wish someone would fix it. I've never had these problems on any other channel....

I get the same "8 second" issue with Arrested Development on HDNet (the only thing I record from HDNet)
