My tivo isn't showing all my channels?

I bought a new tivo last night and I went threw the guided set up and choose my cable and all that but now its only showing my basic cable channels, Its not showing the extended cable channels. How do I get the tivo to recognize all the channels?

You must have given it the wrong service type when it asked you during Guided Setup.

When you say "basic" vs. "extended", what do you mean? What channels aren't there, and what channel numbers do they appear on? (If you're talking digital cable, the only TiVo that can tune digital cable channels is the Series 3, and only if it has cable cards installed.)

Need some clarification on terms... I have a Series 2 using Cox digital service for the past 2+ years.
