Strange Shortened Recording with 6.3b

Got 6.3b last night. Recorded House tonight. No audio dropouts. But...

At 55 minutes there is some pixelation and the recording ends (as far as the playback bar is concerned)... But...

If I continue watching, the program continued for another five minutes and if I press the play button, the playback bar shows I'm back at the beginning of the program (time 0 to 5 minutes). Pressing fast forward or skip puts me back at the actual beginning of the show (actual 0 to 5 minutes).

Wierd stuff... but I did get to see the entire show so I guess that's good.

Mine may be a completely different issue, but on the same show...

SP for House recorded last night, but cut off after 19 minutes. Recording History doesn't even show it recorded it at all (no mention of House in recording history)

Still on 6.3a and no problems with House. You might want to include what channel you were recording. In my case it was DirecTV ch 88.

My problem was with DTV ch 88.

I recorded House on DTV 88 and had no problems.

I recorded Patriot Games with 6.3b and got a partial recording. 1:51 minutes out of 2:15 or something. I think this was HDnet, not OTA.

Hoopsbwc34 - This may be a dumb question, but did you consider that you might have lost the OTA signal for a bit? This happens to me sometimes as Fox is hard top pick up in my area. I'll get 55 minutes of a 60 minute show. However, I've never seen the odd behavior of the play/progress bar you described.

That's 6.3a... this is 6.3b...

...and we're all wondering if the shortened recordings are fixed.I have the same problem in 6.3b... it was not fixed. 6.3b only fixed the audio drop out problem.

I had the same problem, but it cut out after 15 minutes. I tried restarting the recording 5 separate times, but each time it stopped recording after only a few minutes. My recording was the OTA channel.
