Folders question

I don't yet have the update that has the folders feature in it. I am still using the S-O-R-T cheat code. The sort that I use most often is "sort by expiration date". Is there any way to still do this after the update is installed? Also, are the folders only created automatically, or can you define your own folders?

The folders are created by the name of the show, you can't create your own.

Like you, I sorted by expiration and this is the first thing I noticed was missing after being upgraded to 6.3a (now 6.3b). I liked knowing what was going to be be deleted first so I would watch those programs first.

So the answer is no, you can't sort by expiration date. With folders set to on, you can't even see programs in the folder that are eligible for deletion unless you open that folder.

I leave folders off and just turn them on when I want to see my viewing options with less clutter. Having folders off and sorted by date is the closest you can get to sorted by expiration date.
