Save to DVD

I know how to save to a VCR, it is possible to do the same and run the output to a DVD burner. I have a series 2 Tivo and it is on my network, but transferring in PC is slow. I would like to skip the intermediate step and go right to the burner.

If the DVD burner you refer to is a standalone DVD recorder. "Burner" usually refers to the DVD burner in a computer.
