It's back :D
"Sex is fun" -- (I'd ask folks to guess, but on this show, come-on! You know it's a Barneyism)
Oh, I almost forgot: "falafal!" :p

The Dirty Dancing bit was hysterical - down to the replacing Swayze's head with Barney's. Good stuff. The topper was Marshall admitting to having "She's Like The Wind" stuck in his head for the last 40 hours.
"Damn you, Swayze!"

"Talking girls OUT of having sex is against my religion."
"I was 23" .. "My comforter smelled like menthol cigarettes for 2 weeks."
:D
Not the best episode ever, but VERY solid.
"Dude, I loaned you my walkman."

I feared the extremely large-headed sister was going to become part of the cast. Thankfully she went home at the end of the night.
I thought overall this episode was pretty weak, other than the Dirty Dancing parts.

"I don't have any stories to talk girls OUT of having sex."
Loved Barney being a total wuss when sick.

Before we saw the sister, I thought maybe she would turn out to be the mother of Ted's children. Guess not.

We laughed all the way through this episode!
I loved when there was a spider and Barney ran out saying "I left something in the hall." Then he came in and Ted said the spider was still alive so Barney ran back out!
I loved the younger versions of all the cast during their virginity stories!

I really loved this episode!! I feel like the least observant person in history, though, because I didn't notice the replacement of Swayze's head with Barney's in the DD bit.
Maybe I just need a bigger TV or new glasses...
The Marshall/Lily scene with Ted in the top bunk was hilarious, as was the lobby-of-the-Empire-State-Building euphemism for the "almost-sex" that didn't count as Lily's first time.

...With 24 coming back, I now have way too much Monday night TV to watch...

Thats because Barney's head was not replaced. In fact, Neil Patrick Harris originally was cast in the part that would be made famous by Swayze. This was a take from the original version. ;)
If you didn't catch Barney in it at all, then you probably are deranged.
edit: I don't really think you are deranged. You seem like a good guy. Please take the last comment as joke comment.

I think I'm going to have to go with the fact that he looked so much like Patrick Swayze (what with the hair and all) that I just mentally checked out and didn't notice.
Yeah. That's it.

My vote is NO on this. It doesn't count unless it's full on. Peaking your head in the door doesn't count. :)
Decent episode. The flashbacks were great. Nice casting on the sister. Barney's stories for losing his virginity were hilarious.
Seems they are ramping up the romance for Ted and Robin. I figured they woulda broken them up by now.

Bunk bed scene reminded me of a similar experience in college. Except my roommate denied it afterwards and claimed they were just tickling each other. And not the dirty kind. Yeah right...
It doesn't matter whether it counts or not, it is a significant event and he should have known about it already.

Her head is proportional to Robin's, so I thought it was a good match.

OMG, I was rolling. What a great episode. I guess since the show is doing well, they have plenty of time to break Ted and Robin up so no reason not to have them get serious. Still plenty of room for her to even realize that it is not to be with her delaying anyway.
My wife thought the whole "Fun Facts About the Empire State Building" gag was pretty funny since beingf in construction and a building geek, I am the one that is always doing pretty much the exact same thing when I go to buildings or bridges. Only much less annoying. :p
Although, once we did take a side trip to Tampa when we were heading from Orlando to Raleigh just so I could drive on the Sunshine Skyway bridge. :D We did end up staying a day or 2 but would not have gone at all if not for the bridge.

I dunno. If you just mill about on the sidewalk, it doesn't count, but if your head goes through the door, then I think it counts.

They break up at the 7 month exit.

Did anyone else get a blip? It was after a commercial and they came back to them being in line and they repeated it for about 3 seconds.
Maybe it's just me.
This has to have been brought up last year, but if Ted is talking to his kid's in 2030, and his son looks like he's around 16, then when the hell does Ted have kids 2014?
He's starting a little bit early on the story isn't he :D

Yeah, mine came back from commercials in SD, then skipped back a few seconds and started over in HD

Yep, I also got that glitch. IIRC, they just went to a promo and then came back. My wife and I both kind of looked at each other with the what the heck did you do look, thinking that one or the other had FF through some commercials.

I think mmilton is having some fun at my expense, Angie. Dirty Dancing was released in 1987 which would have made NPH 14 at the time as he was born in 1973...

If the other person is hot, it counts. If the other person is fugly (and you're drunk) it doesn't count. If the person is in between, take your pic.
I thought the lil sis looked decent. I thought Lily looked strange. Sunken facial lines around the mouth. Like she's lost too much weight or something.

I checked Jennifer Grey to see if it was the new nose or the 'classic' nose. That's how I determined it was CGI. :D I thought it would have been even more brilliant to get her to reshoot the scene with NPH.

After the nose job she literally looked like a completely different person, almost completely unrecognizable from before.
If they reshot the DD scene with "new Jennifer" it would have looked totally off; everyone would be like, "Who's that girl pretending to be Jennifer Grey?" :)

And based on the pic we can decide in which of the other two categories the other person actually belongs? ;)

Something that just occurred to me (I may be a little slow)... this Dirty Dancing segment was supposed to be a story of how Barney lost his virginity. In this scenario, does he see himself as "Baby"? Patrick Swayze's character certainly wasn't losing his virginity.
... just wondering.

The head was fairly badly put in.. it totally didn't match the rest of the body in movements.
(I realize I'm calling this "fairly badly", when not too many years ago, even being able to do this at this quality on a big budget theatrical movie would've been hard as hell.)
