6.3a When I try to get past 1/14 it resets to the beginning. Also it take a lot of tries to get thru the days of the week. Lots of continual bonging and locking up. Sometimes goes to the beginning just sitting there on a page.

So I can't even plan out conflicts etc for next weekend apparently until next weekend.

This only started approx the beginning of the year.

This is another result of the bad guide data that is being talked about all over the forum.

Try a reboot to see what happens.

it's rebooted about 3x this week then when i replaced my UPS yesterday it got a free reboot on me :)

Thing is, everything appears to be on the list correctly...it's just I cant get to it or it will simply not let me past 1/14. If i go to each SP, they are all fine out to 1/17 at least. So the list is apparently populated correctly, just won't let me see it.

And just now when i tried it, it 'bongs' when I try to get past 1/8 even. arghh....takes a few times they will let me go a bit foward.

I think this situation is a bit different with each unit. I'd just keep track of the To Do List until DirecTV gets this straightened out. That's what I'm doing on my three TiVos.

FYI, My T60 was really messed up so I went the Clear Program info and settings route (not the clear everything) and then re-entered the SPs. Seems to be okay except it did reboot for no reason last night. :(

As far as guide data, unplug for 10-15min. the restart this clears all data from guide and start a complete rebuild. I know some will say this is overkill (waiting that long), but, it sas the only way for me to correct my guide iissues a few months back.

Check the status of your last call in attempt. On my Hughes Directivo I found that it was hung up..."1% complete, updating" was the message that I saw. I pulled the plug and then went and forced a call. Within a couple of hours the todo list was repopulated. I'm not sure this will work for you and it is possible that the status of your last call in attempt was lost with the many reboots you've experienced. The timing of your situation was similar to mine and I only had about 10 items in my todo list. I also couldn't use wishlist to search.

ok now this is getting freaky...last night i was checking the next days to do list and just happened to pause on Dirt while I examined the list. Tivo 'up arrowed' itself and moved it to the next highest listing. The tivo is POSSESSED! I could reproduce this at will and it worked every time and if I moved the selection down below Dirt, it stayed put fine. But for some reason it just wouldn't sit on Dirt! :)

I've never heard or seen of this in all my years with this forum

plugged in last night and got B....cured 'most' of the Todo problem and i was able to move beyond a few days for the first time in a while. However it did bong on me once i got about 10 days out. But it never reset to the start so i guess i can deal.

Also on NP going from the list and pressing select brought up the show much quicker.

retraction..it's back to bonging and not going forward on the todo list.
wahhh

also the possessed behavior is back. Put it on a show and it jumps to the higher one. Something has to be seriously wrong. There is no input on the machine (lights blinking) so it's just the machine changing what show it's looking at.

I haven't seen this behavior, but mine will occasionally "bong" at me if I hit the arrow keys too quickly. Try reordering an entry in your Season Pass manager and then restart. This may help your unit get its indexing in order.

Am I the only one with this problem? I need some miserable company. I've kept the line plugged in (not that I expect a 6.3b (v.2 ) or anything) and rebooted multiple times. I still get the flipping back of the todo list and can't go very far forward in it before it resets to page one. I could deal with the locking up and bonging if it would only let me get more forward.

anyone else have this problem this year? While it's gotten better over time sometimes it just flips pages while you are sitting there looking at it. And it still bongs a lot...my wife says just manually go to the next show and then page down and it will work and mostly it does work ok thatway
