Wireless G Adaper with an Airport Extreme?

I'm getting my CableCards for my S3 next weekend. So my S2 is going to go to the bedroom, but there's no phone line near the TV. I have a 4 year old imac, and an AirPort Extreme base station. Will the Wireless G be all I need to get the program info to the S2, out of the box? Or do I need to do more to prepare the S2/wireless deal?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as the adapter sees the access point.

Thanks - I can always hook it up to the S3 eventually too.
