Another gift card being sold on eBay

It appears that TiVo really does not care if the gift cards are resold despite their printed policy. The first one noted a week or so ago is still on eBay, and a new one just popped up as item #270076059870.

Just because its against TiVo's policy, doesn't mean that its illegal and doesn't mean that eBay should pull the auction. It's not eBay's job to enforce all civil contracts, be they explicit, implied, or imagined. I know I wouldn't think twice about reselling it just because of what the ink on the back of it says.

True, but eBay could pull it if requested by TiVo. That's apparantley what happened with the stackable coupons on the Dell S3 deal a couple of weeks ago. They have no problems pulling oem software when Microsoft complains.
