Help me with my ADAPTER please

Just bought the Tivo wireless adapter. Have it in my Tivo now. When I try to update is needs the ip address, gateway address blah blah. I have a qwest router and Vonage router on my PC right now AND I know they are not wireless BUT I'll be damned if I don't try everything before I try to buy a wireless router.
No phone line so...

Is there a cable adapter that has ethernet on it so i can hook my tivo to my routers that way?

Can you run an Ethernet cable to the Tivo from your Vonage router?

I was hoping a mod would come by and consolidate the four threads. When I responded no one had responded to any of them.

Looks like the other one got further along - all good.
