View Full Version : Series 3 Showing Lifetime on Manage My Account?

I got a Series 3 when they were first available, and called to transfer the Lifetime from my old Series 1. The rep I talked to said it would take up to 30 days for Lifetime to show as attached to the Series 3 on Manage My Account. To this day the Series 3 still shows "1 year prepay" subscription, and my old Series 1 still shows Lifetime. I've called TiVo a couple of times to ask about it, and each time they've said that the Lifetime transfer did actually go through, just it can take up to X days to show correctly on the website. (first 30, then 60, last month they said 90)

Did anyone transfer their Lifetime to a series 3 and have it show correctly in Manage My Account?

Should happen at 60 days. Apparently the S1 not calling in causes a delay. See one example here (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=4711383&&#post4711383). Mine was calling in and transferred on the 60th day.

There are lots of reports about the TiVo names getting switched on TiVo.com.

Checked mine today, and it looks like the lifetime transfer finally went through, but the names were swapped, as well as the activation dates.

Changed one to "temp", renamed the other to the correct name, saved.
Then changed the one to it's real name, saved again.

Mine swapped after 96 days, only after I called TiVo and made a fuss.

My swap took place almost exactly 60 days after I transferred ... and yes, the names swapped to so I had to swap those back.
