Hi. I wanted to record movies based upon my interest wishlist. Example: "Interest/Adult."
I set it to record up to 1 episode only for re-runs and first runs, however, Tivo keeps on restarting whenever I try to save it.
Is there any other way to catch new movie releases shown in HBO, cinemax, etc.? any way to filter out movies released from 2000 and earlier?
Thanks!

First you need to figure out is why your TiVo keeps restarting after setting up a wishlist.

Maybe it just doesn't like porn?

I guess a better question is does it ONLY restart for that search or is it with ANY wishlist? If it's only for adult content could it be a ratings conflict issue of some kind perhaps? Just a wild, unqualified guess.
I've never heard of a media age paramater for Tivo.

Well, there are the parental controls and KidZone features that let you limit what types of rated content can be viewed, but I haven't heard of those causing spontaneous reboots either.

it might be wishlist view upcoming shows size that is boinking memory and causing a reboot. Just a guess mind you, but if you have premium channels that list of upcoming might get pretty large

Is this the middle of a sentence ?
I noticed there is a period in the middle of it but I don't see any indication of a beginning or an end.

I don't see any indication of a beginning or an end.the same can be said for your rancorous posts that add nothing to a thread topic

As others have mentioned here, your Tivo shouldn't be rebooting when you try to setup a wishlist. Sounds to me like you may have a database problem. I'd redo Guided Setup if the problem continues.
Now assuming you're NOT using a DirecTivo (which can't do WishLists by movie year), you can do a WishList that will pick up adult movies from 2000 forward as follows:
Create new WishList
Keyword WishList
input keyword: 200* (use slow button for *)
Select Category: Movies
Select Sub-Category: Adult

Maybe I am misunderstanding your post, but this method works on my DirecTivo.

That's not a media age paramater, that a user age paramater! :p

No, you didn't misunderstand. Sounds like they changed something, or I'm confused. I'm pretty sure I had read before that the DirecTivo units could not do keyword searches on the year that a movie was made. If that's changed, GREAT!
