Just curious if there is any news on it's release?

I noticed on the TiVo website, where you download the Tivo Desktop, at the bottom of the page shows the following:

System Requirements:

For version 2.3a: A personal computer running Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or Windows® XP
For version 2.4: A personal computer running Microsoft® Windows® XP, Service Pack 2 500 megahertz processor
256 MB RAM
5 GB free disk space
See the Read Me file in the Start Menu after installation for more information.
