My wirless transfer speeds are terribly slow -- 2 hours for a 10 minutes of video. I have a wireless b router ...should I upgrade to wireless g router as well as get a Tivo wireless g adapter .. thanks in advance!

Just get a good Linksys or other quality router, not a no-name cheap piece-o-garbage...

You don't need to get a G router and the TiVo adapter, but it certainly wouldn't hurt. :)

i am using wireless g now for the tivos and it is significantly faster than the wireless b was

btw, in addition to the wireless g router, if you haven't bought a wireless adapter for your tivo yet i believe the only tivo officially supports any more is the Tivo-branded one

They still officially support others AFAIK (see their list (http://customersupport.tivo.com/LaunchContent.aspx?CID=1faa0420-0e05-4b2e-9a42-253346b15256) ), but it is the only one that will support WPA.
