Hi All:
I'm wondering if I can do anything to speed up DVD writing.
I'm using "Roxio MyDVD" software to burn CDs.
My system is 2.0G P4 PC with 512MB of RAM running Windows XP Pro. My DVD writer is a USB2.0 external unit.
Would more memory help? Or am I constrained by CPU? I/O?
THANKS!!!

The best thing you can do is use a method that doesn't involve transcoding the audio and video.
VideoRedo + DVDStyler + ImgBurn
Read about it here...

The versions of MyDVD vary but you might find this post (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=4448340&&#post4448340) interesting.
