I recently purchased a replacement remote from Directv and a couple of days after getting the remote I got a certificate for a "free gift". All I had to do is sign it and send in a copy of my "first" bill. It is almost like I was a new subscriber, however I read the fine print about the rules and regulations regarding the free gift and I saw nothing wrong with sending it in, which I did.
Does anyone know what "free gift" Directv is sending out???
By the way the remote is an RF remote for a bedroom R15 (it is really a nice remote for $25.00...one of the few good things about the R15 is this RF capability).
