TWP upgrade causes reboot???

I upgraded to the newest tivowebplus and two of my DTivos rebooted. Is this because it was still running while I copied the files? That's the only reason I can think of (some sort of kernel panic or something caused by overwriting an executeable file that is currently running)...

using the web interface with the .gz file doesn't work but I suspect it's because I'm zippered and the twp isn't installed in /var/hacks/tivowebplus like the HTML upgrade screen says.
