I've recently upgraded to Windows Vista and have managed to get it to work 1 way with Tivo to go. The Tivo to go software installed fine on Vista and recognizes the Tivo and will let me download shows off the Tivo to the computer. I'm running a wireless network and Tivo recognizes the network and grabs the updates as necessary. The one problem I am having is getting Tivo to see my computer. Prior to going to Vista I'd see my computer listed under the things to do section and it would permit me to transfer items from the computer to the Tivo. Can someone please help me out? I'm at a lost here. TIA

If you have not figured it out already, the problem may be the firewall on Vista. I don't remember exactly which Tivo services to unblock in the firewall.

Not sure if this is the issue here, but it may be because Vista Home Basic does NOT include networking capability. As I understand it, if you are running that OS you won't be able to add your PC to a home network, and that may be why your Tivo cannot see the PC.
