I just switched from Cable to Direct TV and am having trouble getting my Tivo(s) to work. My hardware for Tivo #1 is:
D11 Receiver
Pioneer DVR H10H Tivo S2
The problem is getting the Tivo remote to work. There is a place where you can specify the model of the Satellite box but DirectTV is not one of the choices and there is no MFG on the box asside from DTV. I have seen other posts where they have listed an IR code 10074 but where do you enter this code and is that separate or in place of choosing the model of the DirectTV receiver? I tried calling DTV but they no longer support Tivo. I know if I can get this one working the other one will be easy.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

You are doing the guided setup right?
You did choose that you have satellite TV service
DirecTV has to be an option

You have probably gone to the step in guided setup where you reselect uour cable lineup. You need to go back further in the process where you select your signal source.

I just went in to Settings, channels, channel changing (I think). I did find a place where I can change the IR to 10074 (A, B, or C) but it's still not working. It may be because I can't set the model. The list has Dish and every other brand except for DirectTV. I'm going to try going through the Guided Setup and see if that works. My unit may be a little different because it's a Pioneer Tivo and not a Tivo brand. I have another Tivo S2 that I haven't even tried hooking up yet because in that room I have a HD receiver. I thought I'd start with the easy one first (as if). I did read a post that said for the H20 box the location of the L shaped cables were in a funny location... is this the case for the D11 receiver too? I'll get it eventually but in the mean time the commercials are killing me!!! I'm in commercial HELL!!!
Thanks

You have to go back further in guided setup in order to change the signal source, not just the channel lineup section.

guided setup
guided setup
guided setup
Repeat the friggin' guided setup. It's not rocket sicience to figure out when every response mentions guided setup.
Tivo central > messages & settings > restart or reset system > repeat guided setup

Wow... take a chill pill Mick. Didn't I post that I was going to try the Guided S/U?? The reason I dumped cable is because service in my area goes out every night when the temperature drops which means I lose my internet as well so I have to wait to check the board the next day and it causes a lag in my responses. Luckily I got through the Guided s/u before I lost my connection last night.
For anyone else reading this post and needing help the Guided S/U is buried under Restart/Reset. I tried it and it worked.. sort of. The Tivo changes the channels but the remote doesn't unless I go into the Guide and pick the show from there so I think I need to continue to mess with the IR codes. I read a post that said the Receiver needs to be set to IR but I couldn't find a setting for that... it may be buried as well. But... if the Tivo is talking to the Receiver it must already be set to IR don't you think??
Thanks for all your help guys!!
