I just noticed this the past couple of days (it never happened before). Sometimes when watching "Live" TV, If I go back 30 minutes to watch or just put something on hold for a bit, I find that somewhere within the 30 minutes, I lose audio. Completely silent. TiVo sounds still work though. Doesn't happen (at least not yet) when recording a show and playing it back.
Nothing makes the channel's sound come back when this happens. I have tried watching at normal speed a bit, I tried going forward and back at varying speeds and I tried jumping right to the end and back again. The only thing that recovers audio from the channel is to change channels which loses the entire half hour I was hoping to catch up on.
This is a new thing. Could this be because of the new service upgrade?
