I upgraded to Tivo Desktop Plus last night and after that transferred a show to my PC through the desktop. I had the options in the Desktop to create an iPod show (H.264 format). After the transfer was done the show was in my Tivo Desktop and it created the directory/folder where it said it would put the iPod version, but the directory is empty.
Thoughts on what I may have missed?
Thanks

Are you sure the conversion was done? After the show is transferred from your TiVo, the file is converted into H.264 format, which will take a while. You should have an H.264 under your "TiVo Recordings for Portables" folder.
You can also check out circeus' TiVo Converter Wrapper (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=305532) which allows you to convert previously transferred .tivo files.

So I'm not sure the conversion was done. I do have the H.264 directory under my portables, but it is empty (it has been almost 12+ hours so I'm assuming it still isn't converting a 30 minute show).
That is my problem, is there something more I'm supposed to do other than check the box in the desktop preferences to convert on transfer?
Thanks

No, that should be it. When TiVo Desktop is converting a recording, there will be a little black and white swirlie ball on the TiVo Desktop icon in your system tray. Also, you'll notice the TiVoConverter.exe process taking up a lot of CPU time. ;)
Try transferring another (short) show and see what happens. If that doesn't work, I guess you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the software to see if that cleans anything up.
