S3 - Standard Toslink or Mini-Toslink?

I just set up my new Series 3, and I am having difficulty inserting my optical toslink cable into the optical port on the back of the S3. It is not going in far enough to stay in, and just falls out when I let go of it. I am afraid to push too hard, as I do not want to damage the optical port.

Do I need a toslink cable with mini-toslink adaptors?

It's standard toslink. Firm push till you hear a soft click should seat it properly.

Mine took a little more effort that I wanted to give at first, but make sure its lined up and go for it!
