So I just purchased the program. First night I had it, no problems. I transfered 6 shows and successfully converted them to psp format. Took those files and placed them in another folder.

Left the computer on- went to bed. Transfered 13 or more shows and they converted as I slept. Woke up, shut the computer off and went to work.

This was two days ago, and today I looked for the files and there not there.

Tried to transfer and convert 3 more files. bubble pops up, says file converted succesful. I click the bubble, the window they're suppose to be in pops up empty.

The only difference I can think between today and two days ago was I left the internet off then.

So can anyone tell me what happened?

Where did you get 2.3? 2.2 is the current software version offered by Tivo.

2.3 has been out for quite a while now. Everyone is waiting for 2.4.

Don't have the plu$ version, so cannot help the OP with his issue.

No, this is the appropriate forum. Hopefully, somebody else will be along shortly. :)

If you happen to log in in as a different user some directories will be in different locations and access to them may be restricted.

So, if I understand, those 13 shows that converted overnight are no longer in your TiVo Recordings for Portables folder? What format are you transcoding them into (iPod, PSP, etc.)?

Also, when you click the bubble, IIRC, it takes you to the portables folder but then you have to navigate down into the proper format folder (i.e., H.264) to actually see the files.

A TiVo.com glitch. If you go to the TiVo web site and look for just the TiVo Desktop it shows v 2.2 (http://www.tivo.com/1.2.19.asp) but if you look for TiVotogo and "Get Started" it shows 2.3a (http://www.tivo.com/4.9.4.1-2.asp)

PSP

how do I navigate into proper formated folder?
Didnt I make the folder psp specific in the preferences option?

EDIT:
Found the hidden file- marked Sony PSP.
Found a bunch of files that have been convereted, but not all of them.
This is confusing. Is there a manual around?

PS: Thanks for everyones help

Yes, you did select PSP in the options, but if you click on the "x file(s) converted" bubble it only takes you to the high-level "TiVo Recordings for Portables" folder and then you need to navigate down into the PSP subfolder.
