anyone getting this in the guide? I have some family coming over for an early Christmas party. I do get the pregame but then it skips to MI-III. Watch it will be this week that D* finally messes the NFL Network HD Feed up...

Too bad there are no audio dropouts whenever Bryant Gumbel is talking, lol

Are you in the Vikings home market? If so, maybe that is the reason it's not showing up on Ch 95. It doesn't make sense, but that may be the case. Check your local channels to see if it is broadcast in HD.

Last week the game didn't show up in the guide until a few minutes before it started. I wouldn't be surprised if this happens again. If you want to set up a recording do a manual record of channel 95.

I agree with the comments about Gumbel, 2 weeks ago he informed us that the 3 minute warning was approaching. The week before he had the teams turning the ball over on downs, as the punting unit was coming out. What a dumbas*!

Gumbel is a tool, he describes the play after it was over. during the play is dead silence as I think things are moving too quickly for him to process.

I don't recall seeing (or looking) for last week's game, but I did watch it, and I recall Gumbel calling Frank Gore, "Al Gore". Thanks for the replies!

In the Twin Cities it is on KSTP 5.1 in HD

If your one of your locals is carrying the game it will be blacked out on channel 95. Our local FOX affiliate in Milwaukee is carrying the game here. Good luck tonight. The ViQueens are going to need it. :p

Tonight will be the constant "Favre's last game at Lambeau". Even though we all know it's not.

That is not the case for the Thursday night game. Last week the 49ers were on local TV but also on channel 95 on DirecTV. You should be able to watch either one.

ETA: oh and since no one mentioned it yet, Gumbel sucks. :p

Thanks for the head's up on the schedule - channel 95 keeps falling off my favorites list.

Terrible game. Nice picture, though.

In the SF Bay Area, the game didn't show on 95 ... it was only on NFL Network 212 .... which is SD .... Did you guys actually receive the game on 95 HD ??????? hmmm...

I had the game on 95 HD (in Ohio), although the guide never did list the game. Even while the game was on, the guide listing/channel info was "Upcoming: Lakers @ Nets".

Oh, and even though someone has already mentioned it - Gumbel sucks.

Actually I am in the bay and had it on 95. The guide showed "upcoming:Lakers@Bulls" but the Packers-Vikings game was shown in it's entirety on channel 95 despite the guide snafu

Wow. I thought the PQ was horrendous, probably the worst looking HD football game I've seen in quite some time. Blocking everywhere, and everything but closeups looked awful. This was even worse than ESPN's usual lousy presentation.

Not sure how much blame to place on NFL Network/ESPN or DirecTV for this, but my money is on DirecTV.

OTA HD football on CBS is by far the PQ champ IMHO. Makes the NFL Network/ESPN broadcasts via DirecTV look atrocious by comparison.

Same here. It's just the usual channel 95 guide data madness. Usually it fixes itself before the actual event, but not this time. I don't know why correct guide data for 95 is so difficult for D*, but it is often a mess.
