HR20 question

I am still a pretty big newbie in terms of DirecTV in general here, so forgive the stupid question.

HD dish and reciever are coming Jan 16th

Got a call today that the HR20 that I was on the waiting list is ready.

Can I/should I try and get the HR20 in the next week or so and just get it working w/ the regular SD hookup and be all ready for HD.

Do they send someone out to just hand it to me, or do they set it all up?

do they charge you for it, or can i have them bring it w/ the HD dish?

If the installer has both the dish and the HR20 he will come out to install the dish, and install and set up the HR20. They are supposed to run a new cable run if you need it, up to some distance, 100 ft., I think. If you have an old dish, they should unmount it for you. You can probably install the HR20 if you want while the installer is installing the dish; that's what I did. The installer will run through the initial setup for the HR20. They don't charge for the installation.
