Tivo2Go with DVD DVR

As I was reading the FAQ on the Tivo site, I noticed that it mentioned something about Tivo2Go not working with on Tivo's with DVD recorders(Humax, Toshiba,...), does anybody know if this is true.

Recently my Tivo stopped burning DVD's, and I was hoping that I could hook it up to my wireless network, and transfer and burn them from there.

Does anybody have any input?

TiVoToGo definitely works on the DVD units.

What you might have been reading was that you cannot transfer a recording to a DVD unit using MRV (multi-room viewing) and then burn it to a DVD. You can only burn recordings to DVD that were recorded on the unit itself.

I believe that TiVoToGo will also not work with the TiVo units that have the TiVo Basic subscription (the free one). You would need have a subscription (monthly, prepaid, or lifetime) to use TiVoToGo.

Oops, thanks for catching me there. It's been so long since I had TiVo Basic on my TX20 I always forget about that.
