Certain processes running three times on the TiVo

Looking at my processes, it looks like that some of my process are running three times when I look up the processes using "ps"

Specifically

endpadplus
mfs_ftp
tivowebplus

All three are started via my author file. If I kill any of the three, the other two die also.

This HR10 is on 6.3b but I have another HR10 still at 3.1.5 that only has one of each process running.

Any ideas why this is happening?

I can't tell you why but I asked the same question about TWP over at the other forum and was told that this was normal for 6.3 software.

it's normal for most versions >6... any instance of tivosh creates 3 processes
