Has anyone had experience. or know it tivo will control it? No info on search.

BY the way if anyone is interested, it does this:

When you connect your DBOX 2 to your Internet connection (Router or Hub/Switch) you could do the following:

Record from your D-Box to a Windows PC running a Software called acktheGrabber and record Live Digital TV incl. Dolby Digital Sound when broadcasted.

Convert these MPEG Files into DVD Files and burn with Nero or something else onto a DVD.

Record from your D-Box to a Windows PC running a NFS Software or a Linux PC and store the files without converting on this PC.

Play MP3's from your PC to the D-Box and browse through Playlist and hook the box up to your Stereo

Show your holiday Photos on your TV

Watch your recorded Files on your TV inlcuding fast forward, pause etc.

Watch DVD's, DIVX, MPG, SVCD,VCD,AVI from your PC running VLC (google) on your TV.

Watch TV on your PC (Tuxvision,NGrab etc)

Modify or Rename all Channels via Internet Browser, Block certain channels with a code, Hide Channels... Get your Weather Forecast on your Telly (Just checked an should be able to modify for UK) including Sat Pictures, Temps etc.

Update a DynDNS Service via your Box

Get the headers of your Emails, with a message on the Telly when new mail arrives

Send a message from PC to TV (Get Beer...)

Play Games (Tetris and some old C64 Emulations)

Hook the DBox up to your XBOX and record on your XBOX HDD or watch telly
