So I am cleaning out my HR10-250 season passes - what a trip down memory lane. You know how it is, there are some shows like kidnapped for me that I know are canceled - never to return (so I delete them).

But then there are those shows / series that I am not sure about and wouldn't want to delete in case they are ever on again. Here is where I need your help - are these shows ever returning or dead and gone?

CBS- In Justice, Smith
FOX- Stacked
NBC- Conviction, Windfall
ABC- Sons and Daughters
HDNET: Debate, Robbery Homicide, Boomtown
TNTH: Saved
HBO: Big Love, Lucky Louie

Smith - cancelled (you can watch unaired episodes on the CBS website)
Big Love - I read somewhere that there will be a 2nd season, but knowing HBO it will be a long ways out.

I'm pretty sure Windfall and Conviction are gone, never to return.

Saved is coming back for a second season after the new year. It was a hit for TNT so they are definitely returning it. Just milking the new season of The Closer for now.

I enjoyed it a lot and anxiously await the new season.

On 4 December, TV Guide's Matt Roush was asked (http://www.tvguide.com/News-Views/Columnists/Ask-Matt/default.aspx?posting={2764C9E7-9E50-44D1-A764-2B48ACCA5FE7})if the show were coming back and he said that no decision had been made.

Oh, and Stacked is gone...

This thread has me thinking. If I ever do find myself taking hostages - one of my demands will be that Threat Matrix is put back on the air immediately

Amnesia, let me see if I can find the info I read. I think it was snippets of an interview, it was vague, but did say it was coming back next year. Just did not say when.

That aside, I would think that the following would also back this up:

- All TNT "We Know Drama" promos feature Saved video clips
- On their website, Saved is featured next to The Closer (their big hit of course)
- I want the show to come back or I will cry

See the part I bolded. The show is definitely cancelled now. :p

Right now, I just want them to reair it, or put out a box set! I told friends about it and have no means to share it with them.

I saw a preview on HBO showing what's coming in 2007. Big Love was included. I expect it will air after Rome and Sopranos. Maybe Summer '07.

Don't know anything about Sons and Daughters returning, but I loved that show.

Anyone know if "Less Than Perfect" will return?

The Futon Critic (http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch.aspx?id=less_than_perfect) says no.

I have Big Love's return down for June '07 (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=275122), but couldn't place the original source. If I gave it a specific month in that list though, it would have been quoted with it in a reputable source.

This is the best I could find on Big Love

"Albrecht said that as far as returning shows go, Curb Your Enthusiasm will return for a sixth and final season sometime in 2007, and polygamy drama Big Love will come back for its second season next June. Rome will return for a second and final season in January, as will Office creator Ricky Gervais' Extras."

I don't watch any of these shows so I'm no help there, sorry.

But I have seen nothing on Penn & Tellers BS, Showtime has it listed on the website but nothing about new episodes. They haven't had any new episodes for a while.

According to the "Cancelled-Moved-Replacement '05-'06 Season thread:
http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=254181&highlight=Cancelled+Moved+Replacement

All of the following are cancelled:
CBS- Smith
FOX- Stacked
NBC- Conviction
ABC- In Justice, Sons and Daughters

NBC-Windfall was a summer replacement series that, according to the Futon Critic, is also cancelled (its status didn't make the '05-'06 or ythe '06-'07 "Cancelled" threads, I'm guessing because it kind of fell between them).

I can't help you with these:
HDNET: Debate, Robbery Homicide, Boomtown
HBO: Big Love, Lucky Louie

Futon Critic indicates for "Saved" that it's "on haitus - status to be determined", but unless there's a problem with hanging onto the actors or something, I'd have to guess it will be back as it was (from what I could tell) a pretty big hit for TNT.

Edited to fix the network for "In Justice". Just went with OPs info - that will teach me to check the facts! Thanks, Phox. :)

I'm not sure what you're asking about for Robbery Homicide and Boomtown---they are both shows that ended a long time ago. Sure HDNet may be playing old episodes, but no new ones are getting made.

"In Justice" wasn't CBS, but yes, whatever network it was on, it's gone.

FOX- Stacked
NBC- Conviction, Windfall
ABC- Sons and Daughters

Stacked -- cancelled. I happened to check tvshowsondvd.com today and see that there's a Stacked DVD released with 5 unaired episodes. This show wasn't even very good, but still netflix-worthy for the unaired episodes.

Conviction cancelled, windfall cancelled.

Sons & Daughters -- cancelled long ago, but I still have a bunch of them on my non-Tivo recorder -- since I didn't actually think it was all that funny. But might be watchable in the doldrums of summer.

BTW, for shows that MIGHT burn off during the summer, I actually move the SP to the TOP of my SP list. I've got a couple of years old ones still there.

Sons & Daughters was really uneven at first, but as you got to know the characters and the style of comedy they were going for, it actually grew on you. I think there were either 8 or 10 episodes, and while I wasn't a fan of the show after the pilot episode, I found myself really sad after I watched them all, knowing they didn't get picked up (and especially because I didn't know when I'd be seeing Gillian Vigman (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0897005/) again). :(

Saved has been officially canceled. A new show Heartland (featuring Firefly's Morena Baccarin) will air in its place (from The Hollywood Reporter (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/television/news/e3ia1286c83ec34a784bdc578924f95802f))

Anyone know if Wanted on TNT is still around?Gone.

Try The Futon Critic (http://www.thefutoncritic.com/home.aspx) for info---just put in the show name in the search box and a bunch of info will come up, including current status.

That's probably the only reason I have Showtime. Well, that's not true. I have it because it came packaged with the Starz channels. But I only watch it for Penn & Teller :)
