I have an upgraded R10 that has a 250 Gb drive. It is starting to get flakey so I want to replace it. I have a 200 Gb I would like to use. Do I need to modify any of the MFSTools commands to do this? (I would like to keep the season passes and other stuff but not the programs)
thanks

If you have a backup image of the original drive before you upgraded to the 250GB drive then you can restore that to the 200GB drive. Whatever season passes, settings, or preferences were in place prior to making the backup would be restored along with the image. You cannot, however, make a backup image and restore it to a drive smaller than the drive it was derived from.

Not quite. You can make a backup image and restore it to a smaller drive as long as the smaller drive is larger than the original drive (before upgrade). So if the original drive was a 40GB before upgrading to the 250, what the OP wants to do is possible. Just backup with the -s switch, then restore. This of couse does not save programs.
